While, for many, autumn might mean a sad return from vacation to the work-a-day grind, the great thing about autumn is that the city comes back to life.
Nestled just inside Wenchang Gate, Wuqiong is one of the newest venues on the scene, but already one of the most exciting. From local bands to touring groups from all around the country, Wuqiong has been host to some of the most exciting acts in China’s underground scenes. DA HUA 1935
Lastly, we have Da Hua 1935, a textile mill that became a cultural tourism center in recent years. The most impressive part of the transformation is the addition of a venue that has hosted some big acts, such as Rhapsody of Fire when they were on their farewell tour. Tickets here might be a bit on the pricy side, but you’ll get to see some acts here you won’t see anywhere else.
