  PUB Quiz – May 15th     April was a full house with more teams than one could shake a stick at (there was no room for stick shaking). It was also the owner of the Belgian Bar's birthday so each table was given a free three liters of beer making this one of the noisiest and sloppiest trivia nights we've had...but the surprises didn't stop there...a NEW team Scones, Pots and Other Sundry Items took the win and finally broke the winning streak of...that other team we don't even remember the name of AMAZING!   Into the Wilds!    This month's ride will be to Destination Unknown but will be about 70Km round trip with most of it being an easy and flat route with minimal hills. Our rides are open for beginners and intermediate cyclists (all levels really!). We host weekend/holiday rides every two weeks. The Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom and the weather is warming up so grab that camera and head out to one of the most iconic temples in China. Qinglong Temple was build by a Japanese scholor hundreds of years ago as a way to thank the people of Xi'an for everything he learned during his time there. Its  beautiful temple and well maintained grounds are perfect for photography. In November In Your Face Pub Quiz edged out the former favorites Patch Atkinson with twenty correct answers and took home the “tower of power” as they kept referring to the three liters of beer.   Trivia Tuesday – November 20th       This month’s trivia moves to Tuesdays because the crowd at the October one said that Tuesday was a better day…being the open minded folks we are sure enough we moved it to Tuesdays…there you go. As to the October quiz there was a bit of a ruckus, it seemed that Patch Atkinson actually tied another team with 18, but because the opposing team  burnt their answer sheet out of scorn before the final challenge could be rectified, Patch won by default. Seem like a lot of drama for a simple pub quiz?
