| Xi'an’s Xianyang Airport is one of China’s best connected – you can fly to almost any major Chinese destination from here, as well as several international ones. Among them, there are a number of direct scheduled flights to some well-know tour destinations in China, such as Dunhuang, Zhangjiajie and Jiuzhaigou. International airlines operate from Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. |
| The airport is located about an hour to the north west of the city. You can take a taxi or use the shuttle bus which runs every 30 minutes from the airport to the Melody Hotel, near the bell tower. There are numerous outlets around Xi'an, including most hotels, that sell airline tickets. |
