Baoji in Style:A Review of the Crowne Plaza Baoji City Center

Many people who live here in Xi’an love to travel, and whenever a significant chunk of time arrives, most like to hit the road. For the past year, international travel options have been off the table due to the pandemic, and, while inter-provincial travel is still an option.

Before the Spring Festival holiday,we were taking the high speed train to Baoji for a two nights trip. Baoji is located to the west of Xi’an. It is easier than ever to travel to the city, with high-speed trains able to whisk you there in a hour.Baoji was called Chencang and Yongcheng in ancient times, and it was also known as the “Hometown of Emperor Yan and Bronzeware”

We were given the opportunity to stay at the Crowne Plaza Baoji City Center for a truly relaxing experience. When it comes to choosing a hotel, location is king. The location of the Crowne Plaza Baoji City Center is ideal for those who want easy access to what the city has to offer. The hotel is Located in the newly developed financial business district, which is also close to the shopping mall Intime City.Just in front of the hotel are the scenic DongLing Brige,Baoji Grand Theater, and Chencang Old Street.

When you enter through the lobby, you are greeted by many friendly staff members. The check-in process is simple and speedy. Upon completion of the check-in formalities a staff member will take you and your luggage to your room. The rooms are exceptionally well-equipped, with a very plush king bed, desk, and a floor-to-ceiling windows. The bathroom is well-appointed, opening up into the bedroom area. There is a large rotatable TV Wall that sits between the bedroom and the living room, so that you can luxuriously drink while watching TV or enjoying the view out of the balcony window.

Additional amenities at the hotel include a heated indoor pool, well-equipped gym, and a spa where you can get a variety of treatments.

There are numerous restaurants run by the hotel,it was suggested by the staff that we try the Chinese restaurant first called Cai Feng Lou. The meal, which consisted of several courses, was delicious. Such as,sliced boneless beef with sesame crackers pockets(口袋秦川牛肋骨),Assorted Meat in Clay Pot(八珍鱼头煲). There was also a must eat noodle course, Qishan Noodles with ingredients(岐山臊子面),Qishan processed noodles(岐山擀面皮).Everything was exceptionally well-seasoned, without being overbearing in flavor. The breakfast buffet was very well-stocked, and everything tasted fresh and delicious.

The hotpot restaurant and the western buffet restaurant are also good choice for you.

In addition, the hotel has a sky Bar on 40F, which has a great selection of both afternoon tea and drinks.

If you are considering a trip to Baoji for a new year holiday, and you’d like to experience a trip in comfort and casual, then you might consider going with the Crowne Plaza Baoji City Center. Now is an excellent time to travel to Baoji in style.
